About Doris Lyimo
Doris Hergard Lyimo Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities Doris Hergard Lyimo is an accomplished professional with expertise in Linguistics. She holds a PhD in Linguistics and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Dar es Salaam. She also holds a Bachelor of Education Arts from Mwenge University College of Education. For the past ten years, Doris Hergard Lyimo has been an assistant lecturer and lecturer at Mwenge Catholic University. Thus, she has developed a passion for teaching and research through which she has been instrumental in fostering a stimulating learning environment for students who aspire to study linguistics in the areas of Second Language Learning, English language teaching methods, English Grammar and Usage, English Morphology and Syntax, and Communication Skills. Her research interests include learning/teaching English as a Second Language.
