About Monica Mrema

Ms. Monica Mrema is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Natural Sciences and Information Technology (DNSIT) at Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU). She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Mwenge Catholic University and a Master of Science in Statistics from The University of Dodoma. Her inspiration for teaching was inculcated by her school teachers who encouraged her to improve constantly in academics. The undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics and Master’s degree in Statistics prepared her to become a competent and organized professional with an ability to explain mathematical and statistical concepts in an easily understandable manner. She is a self-motivated professional with confidence and enthusiasm as well as having excellent communication and time management skills. Monica can quickly develop a rapport and strategic relationship with students, staff members, and parents to create a friendly environment for learning and teamwork. Her responsive and analytical thinking, patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm are valuable skills that she wants to pass on to others. Monica believes that teaching is a perfect way for her to offer these skills to others and contribute significantly to her profession.
