About Safari Majondo

Dr. Safari Stephano Majondo is a Tanzanian who was born 8/8/1979. He is married with three children and currently he lives at Moshi-Kilimanjaro. Dr. Safari S. Majondo is a Lecturer with eleven years of experience in research, consultancy and teaching at Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU); Faculty of Humanities and Business Studies in the Department of Economics and Business Studies. He holds a PhD in Business administration from Moshi Co-operative University in Tanzania (2023) with specialty in Finance. He also holds a second degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of St. Augustine (SAUT), Tanzania (2013), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) from colledge of Business Education (CBE) Tanzania (2011), Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from SAUT (2007) and a Diploma in Education from Butimba Teachers Colledge (2005). At MWECAU, he teaches; Financial Management, Quantitative Methods in Business for Postgraduate Students and Entrepreneurship for undergraduate students. His recent consultancy assignment is on Entrepreneurship through Fountain and Radio Kicheko found in Tanzania. Consultancy activities through radios commenced from September, 2020, and is going on up to now. Furthermore, Dr. Majondo is also involved in a consultancy through churches owned by Tanzania Assemblies of God (T.A.G) Churches by providing training and seminars on entrepreneurship and small business management and development church members. Such kind of consultancy started on 2023. Dr Majondo is also involved in provision of entrepreneurship education to SACCOs members on financial management area to most SACCOs found in both rural and urban areas in Tanzania. Dr. Majondo is the author of 6 journal papers and 1 book published in local and international peer reviewed journals. Alongside, Dr. Majondo has been involved in the writings of business proposal for the establishment of HEDARU University college (2019) owned by MWECAU as a new campus. Dr Majondo has attended several trainings on Multidisciplinary Research Writing. Some of these includes; The Training on Multidisciplinary Research Writing Proposal phase one and two both held at Moshi Co-operative University, Tanzania, in November 2019, and in August 2022, respectively. He is a regular reviewer of the Journal and some of these include the Journal of Co-operatives and Business Studies and East Africa Journal of Social and Applied Sciences owned by Moshi Co-operative University.
